Ball mills are the core equipment in mineral processing production lines, used for dry or wet grinding of various metallic and non-metallic ores. If high purity of the finished product is required, ceramic ball mills can also be selected. The liners and grinding media are made of alumina ceramic, quartz, SILEX or other special materials, and the ore is free from iron contamination.
The material is fed evenly into the first chamber of the mill through the hollow feed shaft of the feeding device. This chamber is lined with stepped or corrugated liners and contains steel balls of different sizes. The rotation of the cylinder generates centrifugal force, which lifts the steel balls to a certain height and then drops them, producing a heavy impact and grinding effect on the material. After the material is coarsely ground in the first chamber, it enters the second chamber through a single-layer partition plate. This chamber is lined with flat liners and contains steel balls for further grinding of the material. The powdered material is discharged through the discharge grate, completing the grinding operation.
Utilizing a fully hydraulic operation, it is easy to use and readily automated, significantly improving its reliability and lifespan.
The cylinder, liner, medium, partition plate, and discharge grate of the rotary section are all assembled from high-quality components.
The liners and grinding media are made of alumina ceramic, quartz, SILEX, or other special materials, ensuring no iron contamination in the grinding stone.
The ultrafine ball mill and classifier form a closed system with negative pressure conveying, resulting in low dust levels and reduced harm to human health.
